Horter Investment Management, LLC was founded in 1991. Drew Horter has been in the financial services industry for 31 years and a Certified Financial Planner since 1986. His Horter Investment Management has been a RIA for over 21 years. We may not have seen it all, but we have seen a lot. Meet Kirk Horter
Kirk has been instrumental in developing a Low Risk Private Wealth Money Management Platform for Horter Investment Management, LLC. In addition to overseeing Trading, Account Reconciliation and ACAT Transfers, Kirk also analyzes the Portfolio Managers that meet the performance standards, risk tolerance, and low risk money management criteria that Horter Investment Management mandates in it’s managed portfolio.

Meet Jack Peters
Jack is responsible for advisor recruiting and training. Jack’s 29 years in the Financial Services Industry qualifies him in brokerage statement analysis, tax return opportunities and implementing the Horter Investment Management, LLC low risk, and low volatility1 investment management platform. Jack will also market the Horter Investment Management, LLC platform with fixed index annuities in Cincinnati to retirees and pre-retirees.
Meet Jason Long
Jason is a 17 year veteran of the financial services industry, including banking and wealth management. He has a strong background in compliance and risk management and will play a key role in building and maintaining our compliance program as we continue to grow. Jason was most recently head of accounting, operations, human resources and compliance for another registered investment advisory firm in Cincinnati. Prior to that, he was chief financial officer for a community bank and a bank operations and technology center. His career in banking had a strong focus on risk management, compliance and working with regulatory authorities. Jason majored in Finance and Accounting at Miami University and attended Xavier University for his MBA.
Meet Kevin Hetzer
Mr. Hetzer is a member of the management team and has been with Horter Investment Management, LLC since March 2008. His knowledge encompasses all facets of Horter such as IAR support, trading, billing, payouts, CRM and portfolio management software, Liberty and the various other technologies that Horter offers. Kevin is responsible for efficiently running Horter’s back office and evolving technology for Horter and our Advisors.
Meet Joe Egloff
Joe started his career in the financial services industry 17 years ago. Joe worked in various different roles including sales as well as management positions with two well-known financial service companies. Those roles required that he obtained his Series 7, 9, 10, 63, 66 and Life and Health Insurance licenses. During Joe’s career, whether as a manager or sales representative, he always practiced doing what is in the client’s best interest through listening to their objectives, challenges, needs and the impact financial decisions will have on their financial goals.
